I, Adrian, affirm that I have completed my independent component which represents 30 hours work.
I finished the rest of the Audi Academy. NOTE: It shows 15 out of 16 completed because the last module was a seminar that actually requires me to be an employee to qualify(first picture). To compensate for this I finished the courses on the side, which can be seen in the second picture under Advanced Course Catalog Search.
Interpretive:
The modules went through EVERY single model in the current Audi lineup and went into detail on the engine, transmission options, suspension, etc. The Advanced Section Models went into even more detail about particular parts of the car, so with that said I was able to distinguish what parts were most important to achieve maximum performance from an Audi.

3.) At over 200mph a car needs over 4000lbs of down force to keep the car from lifting.
-Drag increases the air resistance a car has, inhibiting effective power the engine can put down.
-A low center of gravity on the car keeps the air flow under the car moving smoothly, which pushes the car down. More down force makes turning easier.

Blog 20 Room Creativity
1. For the creativity assignment, I was thinking of putting up general tools used to work on Audi's and maybe some racing helmets and gloves etc. I can also see if Daly could let me borrow his car so I can have an actual live example if I needed one.
2.) For answer 1, I would explain the different types of engines and have the student's design their own engines based on the designs I've given them. From there I'd ask them questions on how they expect the engine to perform and try and match their engine designs to real world engines.
For answer 2, there is a racing simulator called Forza 4, which allows the user to control the stiffness of the ESP and chassis. Students would be able to change the stiffness, and see for themselves how balance plays a key role in overall handling.

Answer 2: The chassis and suspension of an Audi are essential in order to achieve maximum performance.
Evidence: When cars go through corners, the weight must be distributed adequately in order for the car to put its power down effectively.
The suspension keeps the car in contact with the road in order for the car to be able to put power down effectively.
The suspension also keeps the car from not losing the car's center of gravity, in that way the car doesn't roll over on one side with the G force produced by the car.

The Product
Throughout my Senior Project I've been learning what makes a luxury car a luxury car, as well as how to do basic maintenance on a car with my uncle. With that said, I believe that the product of my senior project is that

1.)I've been able to complete basic maintenance on cars, which I never knew how to do.
How I can Apply It
I've been able to apply this at home, whether its changing oil on my mom's car or just checking the tire pressure. Its also a skill I'll be able to use the rest of my life with my future cars.I've also been able to develop a deeper understanding of luxury auto mobiles as well as how much effort goes into small details in an Audi, and if I ever buy a luxury car, I'll know what features to look for and how to properly maintain it.
