Answer 1

1. The first answer to answering my essential question, "What is most important to achieve maximum performance from an Audi", is the engine. The engine is literally the heart of the car, and having a good engine for a car determines the rest of the cumulative performance of the car.

2. The 2.0 liter Audi TFSI engine produces 211 hp and 258 lb/ft of torque at @1500 rpm. In plain English, this means that the car produces its maximum torque as soon as you put your foot down on the gas, unlike other cars who produce their maximum torque until the 5000-7000 rpm. This explosive torque helps get the car off the line extremely fast and as soon as possible.

Service Learning

1. I'm working in my uncle's garage for service learning.
2. I've basically been helping my uncle out with keeping his car in tune. He's showed me how to change the oil, how to determine how many cylinders an engine has, tire pressure, and how to change the oil filter. I've also helped him install new seats so I'm getting an idea of how the interior is set up as well. Basic A-Z.

I-Poly ESLR

Throughout Senior Project, I think my two strongest ESLR's are effective user of tech and life-long learner.

I feel I've been good as an effective user of tech because of the quality of my research. I've been able to find research and extremely specific parts of Audi's, such as the Audi Space Frame, Anti-Lock Braking Systems, etc. It might not be as obvious, but Audi uses extremely high tech features in each of its cars, and I've been able to recognize some of the most important but not recognized features.

I also feel I've been good as a life-long learner. What I'm learning about cars is going to be relevant the rest of my life. I'll be able to do my own car maintenance and I'll be able to know my car well enough so the mechanic won't rip me off. My service learning is in my opinion a strong source of life-long learning.
